What is Alliance for Children all about? How do we help?
Alliance for Children is a 501C3 that serves children in crisis through generous donors who make it possible to provide resources for children who fall through the bureaucratic cracks of the child welfare system. Alliance works through networking with other entities that can identify children who are eligible for our assistance. We receive these referrals through school social workers, domestic violence shelters, the juvenile court system, The Department of Family and Children's Services, and other organizations that interact with children.
When we identify and verify the child's situation, we begin assessing the child's needs. Then, through generous donations from the community, we set up and pay for what the child may need. Sometimes, it may be clothing, medical care, glasses, dental care, food, learning tools, and many other things. The needs are as unique as the child. Donations are gratefully accepted via our website donate tab, Venmo, and/or check.
